Corporate Re-Brand – Major UK ISP / Major UK mobile operator
Summary:
Following a Group Corporate decision to re-brand all customer facing business units, a transformation programme was required within the ISP division. Due to the high complexity of interrelationships between many on-going projects, the huge media ‘D-day’ campaign (approx £30m spend alone) and senior management reputations on the line, this programme needed very close management, tight stakeholder management and board level reporting and communication. David :
- Led all technical, functional & transformational aspects of this programme, closely integrated with a marketing focussed change programme
- Ensured governance was followed correctly, despite a very aggressive (3 months) timeframe
- Coached internal teams to over deliver against their remits, actions and issues – celebrating each success as achieved
- Managed all technical activity of change over day
- Reported progress (to divisional executive board) against each project, their individual progress and combined risks
- Closely managed extended matrix teams within Group Corporate and across multiple external suppliers

Outcome:
A highly successful switch-over, with a completely new web portal (heavily integrated between multiple divisions), new products and new internal services. The launch went ahead within the group required timeframes, with the required ‘splash’ of exciting new products but with minimal impact to on-going customer services.
